Dato’ Satinah Syed Saleh FCMI 
is an Adjunct Profesor at the University of Cyberjaya/ Advisor, Malaysian Association for Education. 

Dato’ Satinah Syed Saleh is a distinguished education leader with over 30 years of experience spanning Malaysia’s public and private sectors. She holds academic credentials from Loughborough University (UK), the University of Malaya, and Professional/Executive Certificates from Harvard University, and the Australian National University, reflecting her lifelong commitment to educational excellence and leadership.

Currently, Dato’ Satinah serves as Director at Melewar Learning Resources/Direct English and as a Board Member of the British International School Kuala Lumpur. She is also the Managing Director of Alpha Alsagoff Edu Resources Sdn. Bhd., where she advises local and international investors on Malaysia’s education landscape. Her extensive career includes strategic policy and advisory roles such as Special Officer to the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Director of the Malaysian Students Department in New Zealand, and Member of the National Education Advisory Council (2018–2020). She has also served as Education Consultant & Advisor at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Head of the Project Management Office for the Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013–2025, and Director of the Private Education Division at the Ministry of Education Malaysia.

A respected figure in educational governance, Dato’ Satinah has led and served on the boards of prominent institutions including the International Schools Partnership, St. John’s International Schools, and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. She was President of the Malaysian Association for Education (2020–2024) and now serves as its Advisor. Her distinguished contributions have been recognised with the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan (2013), Ahli Mangku Negara, multiple Excellence Awards, and the Women Icons Malaysia Award (2018). A sought-after speaker and mentor, Dato’ Satinah remains deeply dedicated to advancing education transformation and nation-building in Malaysia.
